【易错警示】except 与besides，but
except 除……之外，侧重整体除去一部分。例如：

besides 除……之外（还有）。例如：
We all knew about the news besides Jim. 除了吉姆知道以外，我们也都知道这个消息。
but 作介词，常与nothing, nobody, who, all等连用，意为“除……之外”。如： We had nothing to do but wait. 除了等待之外，我们一筹莫展。 No one but me saw him. 除了我之外，没人看到他。
